Refund policy

At Direct Flooring, we are committed to ensuring you select the perfect products for your project.
If you are not completely satisfied with your in-store or online purchase, you may return the
merchandise to any Direct Flooring location within 30 days of purchase with a valid sales
receipt. Please note the following conditions and fees:
* All returns are subject to a 35% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for all return
shipping costs.
* We reserve the right to limit or deny any return or exchange.
* All returns require the original packaging. Please see the "Original Packaging" section below
for details.
For returns attempted after 30 days or without a valid receipt, we may, at our sole discretion,
issue a refund at the item's last lowest selling price or provide a merchandise credit. A valid
photo ID is required for such returns, and information from the ID will be recorded. Direct
Flooring utilizes a third-party refund verification system, and all returns are subject to its
approval.
**If Your Return is Approved:**
* All merchandise must be undamaged, uninstalled, and in resalable condition.
* Returns within 30 days with a valid receipt will be refunded via the original payment method,
less the 35% restocking fee and any applicable return shipping charges.
* Returns after 30 days or without an original receipt will be processed as a merchandise
credit, less fees.
* Returns over $500.00 where the original payment was cash or check will be processed as a
mailed refund check.
**ORIGINAL PACKAGING REQUIRED**
Returns must be unopened and in the original purchased packaging and quantity

Exceptions are:
* Individual pieces purchased as samples, as indicated on the receipt.

Once a product has been installed, it cannot be returned. Direct Flooring is not responsible for product defects or damage discovered after installation, property damage, or lost labor costs. Claims for shipping damage or shortages must be made immediately upon receipt. Thoroughly inspect all products before installation, as installation constitutes acceptance. Installed flooring is considered the property of the owner/installer and is non-returnable. 

**Special Orders** 

All special orders are **non-refundable** once the order is tendered (payment is processed). Damaged or defective special order items may be exchanged, but the customer is solely responsible for all outgoing and return shipping costs. 

**Damaged Shipments** 

**DO NOT REFUSE ANY SHIPMENT.** Refusing a shipment will result in the customer being charged all applicable shipping fees. If you receive a damaged shipment, please contact Customer Care immediately at (423)203-4365 for assistance.
